Our design purpose is to allow more adult music fans to enjoy the fun of playing music and the experience as a real master, without bothering by efforts of learning guitar skills nor complicated music theory nor pain of pressing strings.

BACKGROUND
Learning traditional instruments is a complex and difficult task. Whether understanding the music theory, or practising how to play, is a huge challenge to the patience of ordinary people. The LiberLive team found us, hoping to reimagine the possibilities of instruments together, breaking the learning barriers of the instrument.
BREAK THE LIMITATIONS OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENT SCENARIOS
The large size of traditional musical instruments has brought hidden costs and psychological barriers to users. At the same time, it is very inconvenient to carry traditional musical instruments when traveling, which limits the usage scenarios and flexibility.
Our goal is to design a product that provides enough size for a comfortable interactive experience and a eye-catching performance picture while playing. At the same time, it can transform, like a piece of magic, into a compact form that can be easily packed into a backpack and accompany users during their travels. Through paper prototyping, we explored different transformable forms and finally chose the optimal solution.
A BEGINNER-FRIENDLY INTERFACE DESIGN
We put performance-related interactions on surface A, and the rest of indicating and setting interactions on the surface B. This clear interface division can avoid laying out all the interactions directly to make the product look complicated, which in turn creates a hard-to-learn feeling.
